Islamic card message ideas that sound like you

For the friend who has enough mugs. For your mum. For the person who crossed your mind for no particular reason.

Two actual Hablobi card designs: roses on a golden arch and a cream mosque with a crescent on blue paper.

Start with the reason you thought of them

The prettiest card still needs a sentence that sounds like its sender. Before choosing a design, ask yourself one small question: why this person, today? A detail from real life is usually warmer than a paragraph that could go to everyone in your contacts.

These messages are starting points. They are ordinary personal wording and wishes, not scripture, transmitted duas or promises of a particular religious reward. Change them so they sound like something you would actually say.

For a quiet Friday hello

A little Friday hello. You've been on my mind, and I'm making dua for you.
Jummah Mubarak. Hope there is a little ease in your day today.

Add one personal line if you can: ask about the exam, the move or the thing they were looking forward to. Remembering the detail is the gesture.

For Eid, from near or far

Eid Mubarak! Saving you a seat, and possibly a second dessert.
Eid Mubarak. Wish we were celebrating in the same room. Sending you so much love from here.

If the day is difficult for them, skip the pressure to be cheerful. 'Thinking of you this Eid. No need to reply' can be a thoughtful alternative.

For your mum, or someone who always shows up

Thank you for all the little things you do that aren't actually little.
You make people feel looked after. I hope you feel looked after too.

Make the thank-you specific. Mention the meal, the lift, the call or the patient listening. You do not need a formal occasion to say you noticed.

For absolutely no occasion

No occasion. Just you, crossing my mind.
Saw something lovely and wanted to send some of that feeling your way.

A card can simply be a small hello. It does not need to ask for a response, a public repost or proof that the person appreciated it.

Add something you grew

In Hablobi, reciting in the Garden grows flowers. When you finish a surah, you can keep its flower or place it on a card with your own message. Choose a design, write your note, add a flower you have grown, and send it to someone on your mind.

Your first Al-Fatiha garden is free. Hablobi Plus opens the full app after your introduction: solo and shared gardens, Quran reading and listening, cards, Ashab and your Locker. Prices and any eligible trial are shown before you subscribe.
